After church one Sat, my sister and I met up for dinner at Loola's at the Esplanade.
Again, it was my first time there. Nice place that reminded me of
Food For Thought, one of my favourite hangouts. (Food for Thought wins.) That's my French Toast made using brioche, with caramelized pear and a scoop of whipped cream? Or was it mascarpone? Yummy! My sister had one of their All day breakfasts... hey, who says we can't have dessert and breakfast for dinner! Hehe...

After that, we took a walk through Public Garden, an arty bazaar nearby and then met up with my cousin who was in the area. We headed to the
Cookie Museum in the Esplanade for a drink, though truthfully, I was starting to get really sleepy. ;)
The Cookie Museum is known for the local flavoured cookies like Hae Bee Hiam (prawn-chilli paste), Hainanese Chicken Rice, Laksa,
Nasi Lemak and floral/fruity flavoured cookies. Sounds weird? They taste very interesting!
My sister and cousin ordered a Chai Latte and a coffee, whilst I went for this ultra- thick hot chocolate that was a dessert in itself. It was wonderful, except I was quite stuffed after dinner and my late lunch so I couldn't finish it.
We were treated to a sampling of a few flavours of their cookies, and were told they have made about 350 flavours so far! We loved their Rose, Macadamia and Green Tea Strawberry flavours. Not all are for sale at one time, some are made according to demand. But now we know what to gift visitors from overseas and our loved ones for birthdays and Christmas! :)
